It started from launching our first major collection after the pandemic, we called it REBIRTH. As usual, I ventured into the bustling markets to source fabrics. That’s when I stumbled upon a stunning fabric that immediately sparked inspiration.

This fabric became the starting point for one of our most iconic designs, the YANG SET, marking the beginning of a journey that would eventually lead to the creation of our custom EASE print.
July - September 2021
The YANG SET launched in this print, receiving immense love and support. It quickly became a fan favorite, and we had to keep restocking the fabric due to the high demand.
December 2021
Unfortunately, we reached the final run of the fabric when the seller ran out. Even after the last restock, 1964 women continued asking for its comeback.
April - October 2023
Determined to bring back the essence of the beloved print, I began the journey of creating a custom design. From reaching out to Grapes Pattern Bank via email to discussing concepts with Busola, my vision was to craft a print that retained the charm of the original but also reflected what 1964 stands for.
We decided to weave the word “EASE” into the lines of the new fabric, encapsulating our brand’s ethos of calm, comfort, and timelessness.
March 2024
After months of collaboration and refinement, the renewed version of the print debuted in linen as part of the YANG SET. Unsurprisingly, it was the first piece to sell out from the collection.

Despite its success, the cost of producing the YANG SET in linen with the custom EASE print proved to be too high, making a restock unfeasible.
October 2024
Inspired by a trip to Cartagena with my sisters, where we dined at a beautiful restaurant named Candé, I envisioned a new way to bring the EASE print to life. By using mesh fabric, which is both cost-effective and easier to produce, we could offer a new design that retained the essence of the original while introducing something fresh. This idea gave birth to the Candé Dress.
