We want you to love your 1964 pieces—but if something isn’t quite right, here’s everything you need to know about returns and refunds.

We offer a 7-day return policy. You must request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.

We want you to love your 1964 piece. Each item is made in limited quantities with intention and care so we offer returns in the form of store credit or an exchange to help you find the piece that’s right for you.

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible:

Items must be unworn, unused, and in original condition. Accompanied by a clear time stamped photo of the item before shipping to confirm it's condition.

Tags must be attached

Items must be returned in their original packaging

Dropped off within 3 days of receiving return label

We only accept returns from Canada and the USA at this time.

Items that do not meet these conditions may be charged a restock fee or completely refused.

What We Offer

Approved returns receive store credit for the amount paid (excluding original shipping).
Store credit never expires and can be used toward any future purchase.

We do not offer cash or card refunds to original payment method.


Sale & Archive Items

All Sale, Archive, and discounted items are final sale and are not eligible for return or store credit.


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect. If you request a return for items that qualified for free shipping, a $20 restock fee will be deducted from store credit. 


How to Start a Return

Email us at yourfriends@the1964brand.com within 7 days of delivery.
Once approved, we’ll send return instructions.
Returns sent without approval will not be accepted.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will make it right.


Shipping Liability & Customs Fees

Once an order has been shipped, 1964 is not responsible for any loss, damage, delay, or misdelivery that may occur during transit. All shipping-related issues must be resolved directly with the selected carrier.

For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping fees. 1964 is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from customs processing.
